About Us

In our worship and our meetings the people of Newlyn Trinity gather around the Christian story to explore what it means to live and love in the 21st Century. But it doesn't end there. From our aim to develop a church and community centre to our sales of fairly traded chocolate we seek to act out what we are learning and to help each other and the wider community to grow and develop.

Methodists have met on our site since 1832 but we are not standing still. We are a people on a journey of discovery and offer a ready welcome to those who need support on their life journey and all who would like to explore with us. The Church has been likened to Noah's ark with all kinds on board. That's a good description of Trinity where we have young and old, people who've lived in Newlyn all their lives and newcomers to the village, lifelong Methodists and people from other denominations and none, people who are sure of the answers and folk still working out the questions.
